Ingredients:
  • 1 can (11 oz) refrigerated Pillsbury™ Original French Bread
  • 6 slices bacon, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 bag (5 oz) baby spinach
  • 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
  • 6 oz crumbled feta cheese
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 cup Progresso™ plain panko crispy bread crumbs
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 350°F. Follow baking instructions on the package for the bread. Allow to cool before serving.
  • Preheat the oven to 400°F and generously coat a 9-inch glass pie plate with cooking spray.
  • Cook the bacon in a large skillet over medium heat for 9 to 12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until crispy. Place the cooked bacon on paper towels to drain; set aside. Keep 1 tablespoon of drippings in the skillet and reserve 2 tablespoons in a small bowl.
  • In a skillet with bacon drippings over medium heat, sauté garlic for 30 to 60 seconds until fragrant. Add spinach and cook until wilted. Remove from heat, cool, then squeeze out excess liquid and finely chop the spinach on a cutting board.
  • Combine spinach, crispy bacon, rich cream cheese, tangy feta cheese, creamy mayonnaise, bold black pepper, and spicy pepper flakes in a medium bowl. Spread the mixture evenly in a pie plate.
  • Toss bread crumbs with 2 tablespoons of bacon drippings until coated. Sprinkle mixture over spinach. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and bubbly. Serve hot dip with sliced French bread.
