Elevate mashed potatoes with garlic, butter, milk, parsley, and Parmesan cheese for a flavorful twist.
Ingredients:
  • 5 pounds potatoes, peeled and quartered
  • 0.25 cup butter
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups low-fat milk
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 0.25 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground black pepper
Instructions:
  • In a large pot, cover potatoes with salted water and bring to a boil. Simmer over medium-low heat until tender, for about 20 to 25 minutes.
  • In a small saucepan, gently melt butter over medium-low heat. Sauté garlic until soft, approximately 5 minutes.
  • After draining the potatoes, place them back in the pot. Mix in the delicious garlic-butter blend, milk, Parmesan cheese, fresh parsley, salt, and pepper. Mash everything together until the mixture is silky smooth.
