Creamy garlic prawn fettuccine

Delicious member-inspired recipe. Please note it has not been taste-tested by our team.
Ingredients:
  • 500g fettuccine
  • 6 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 4 spring onions, chopped
  • 1kg green king prawns, peeled
  • 125.00 gm white wine
  • 127.50 gm chicken style liquid stock
  • 200-300ml cream
  • 20.00 gm cornflour, mixed with 1/4 cup of cold water
  • 62.50 ml tasty cheese, grated
  • 62.50 ml Italian parsley, chopped
  • Salt and pepper, to season
  • Olive oil
Instructions:
  • Prepare fettuccine as directed on the package.
  • Heat a generous amount of olive oil in a pan. Add minced garlic, chopped spring onions, and a pinch of salt. Cook until the vegetables are tender.
  • Saute prawns until cooked, then add wine and stock. Simmer for 2 minutes.
  • Stir in the combination of cream and cornflour until thickened. Remove from heat and mix in cheese and parsley until cheese melts. Serve over the fettuccine.
