Effortless ham and cheese quiche using pre-made crust. Versatile for any mealtime!
Ingredients:
  • 1 (9 inch) refrigerated pie pastry
  • 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese, divided
  • 0.5 cup shredded Swiss cheese
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour, divided
  • 0.5 cup diced cooked ham
  • 2 tablespoons honey mustard
  • 1.25 cups half-and-half
  • 5 eggs, beaten
  • 0.25 cup chopped green onions
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) for that perfect cooking temperature.
  • Gently press the pastry into a 9-inch pie plate.
  • Place in the preheated oven and bake for 5 minutes. Then, use a fork to poke holes in the pastry and bake for an additional 5 minutes until lightly browned.
  • Take the crust out of the oven and lower the oven temperature to 350°F (175°C).
  • Combine a delicious combination of 1/2 cup Cheddar cheese, Swiss cheese, and 1 tablespoon flour in a bowl, then generously spread it over the warm crust.
  • Combine the ham and honey mustard in a bowl, then drizzle over the cheese mixture.
  • Combine half-and-half, eggs, green onions, 1 tablespoon flour, and salt in a bowl. Gently pour the mixture over the ham layer and sprinkle with the remaining Cheddar cheese.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 40 to 50 minutes until the center is firm. Let it cool for 10 minutes before slicing.
