Creamy parmesan potato mash

Elevate potato mash with a sprinkle of savory parmesan.
Ingredients:
  • 1kg potatoes (see note), peeled, diced
  • 100g butter, chopped
  • 200ml pouring cream
  • 50g parmesan cheese, finely grated
Instructions:
  • Boil potatoes in salted water until tender, then drain in a colander.
  • Place the potatoes back into the warm saucepan and gently shake over low heat for about 30 seconds until any extra moisture evaporates. Take the saucepan off the heat.
  • Roughly mash potatoes with a potato masher, gradually adding butter until smooth. Mix in cream and beat until creamy with a wooden spoon. Season with salt and pepper, then stir in parmesan cheese. Serve and enjoy!
