Nutrient-packed pasta dish with crunchy greens for a quick and easy meal.
Ingredients:
  • 400g fusilli pasta
  • 150g short cut bacon, excess fat trimmed, cut into thin strips
  • 250g button mushrooms, sliced
  • 375g can lite and creamy evaporated milk
  • 50g snowpea sprouts
  • Salt & freshly ground pepper
Instructions:
  • Boil the pasta in a large saucepan of water following package instructions until al dente. Drain and place back in the pan.
  • Heat a non-stick frying pan over high heat. Cook the bacon and mushrooms until golden, about 5 minutes. Stir in the garlic, followed by the evaporated milk. Reduce heat to medium and simmer until slightly thickened, 5-8 minutes. Finally, add the peas and mix well.
  • Combine the cream sauce and snowpea sprouts with the pasta, toss well. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve piping hot.
