Creamy Peanut Butter Filled Bars

Make delicious bars using Betty Crocker® cookie mix.
Ingredients:
  • 1 pouch (17.5 oz) Betty Crocker™ Chocolate Chip Cookie Mix
  • Butter and egg called for on cookie mix pouch
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1 cup honey roasted peanuts
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup whipping cream
  • 1 tablespoon Betty Crocker™ candy sprinkles
Instructions:
  • Prepare the cookie dough according to package instructions. Press the dough evenly into an ungreased 13x9-inch pan. Bake at 375°F for 12 to 14 minutes until golden brown. Allow it to cool before enjoying.
  • Combine powdered sugar, creamy peanut butter, and milk using an electric mixer until velvety. Gently fold in peanuts and spread over the cookie crust.
  • In a small saucepan, gently melt chocolate chips and butter over low heat, stirring until smooth. Remove from heat and mix in whipping cream until well combined. Spread the mixture over the peanut butter layer, sprinkle with colorful toppings, and chill for 1 hour to set.
