Creamy chicken pasta with fresh ingredients for a flavorful meal.
Ingredients:
  • 3 cups penne pasta, uncooked
  • 0.25 cup KRAFT Sun-Dried Tomato Vinaigrette Dressing
  • 4 (4 ounce) boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup fat-free, reduced-sodium chicken broth
  • 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 ounces PHILADELPHIA Neufchatel cheese, cubed
  • 2 cups grape tomatoes
  • 0.5 cup KRAFT Shredded Parmesan Cheese
  • 8 fresh basil leaves, cut into strips
Instructions:
  • Cook pasta according to package instructions. Meanwhile, heat 2 tablespoons of dressing in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chicken, cover, and cook for 5 to 6 minutes on each side or until it reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees F. Remove the chicken from the skillet and cover to keep warm. Wipe out the skillet carefully with a paper towel.
  • Pour in the remaining dressing, broth, and seasonings into the skillet and heat for 3 to 4 minutes. Add Neufchatel cheese and stir for 2 to 3 minutes until melted. Mix in the tomatoes and cook for an additional 3 minutes.
  • After cooking the pasta, mix it in a skillet with Parmesan and fresh basil until well combined. Serve the pasta topped with cooked chicken.
