Indulgent creamy breakfast porridge.
Ingredients:
  • 180g rolled oats
  • 750ml milk
  • 300ml pure (thin) cream,
  • 1 vanilla bean, split, seeds scraped
  • Brown sugar apples
  • 2 red apples, cored, cut into 1cm-thick wedges
  • 32.00 gm brown sugar
Instructions:
  • In a saucepan over medium-low heat, combine oats, milk, cream, vanilla pod and seeds. Stir frequently for 10-15 minutes until oats are tender and the mixture is thick and creamy. Adjust consistency with more milk if needed.
  • In a saucepan over medium heat, combine the apple, brown sugar, and honey. Stir occasionally and cook for 10 minutes until the apple becomes tender, golden, and sticky.
  • Divide the porridge evenly among four bowls, including a special one for Goldilocks! Add sliced apple on top, drizzle with honey syrup, and serve.
