Indulgent gluten-free French chocolate custard without flour.
Ingredients:
  • 0.75 cup light cream
  • 1 (4 ounce) bar sweet baking chocolate, chopped
  • 2 egg yolks, lightly beaten
  • 4 tablespoons whipped cream, or to taste
Instructions:
  • In a saucepan over medium heat, gently melt the chocolate in the cream and sugar mixture. Stir constantly until smooth.
  • Gradually whisk some of the melted chocolate into the beaten egg yolks until smooth. Return this mixture to the pot with the remaining chocolate. Heat gently while stirring continually until the custard slightly thickens. Divide the mixture into small dessert bowls and top with whipped cream for a delightful finish.
