Crispy baked green olives

Satisfy a crowd with crunchy olive finger food platter.
Ingredients:
  • 187.50 ml tasty cheese, grated
  • 100g butter, softened
  • 312.50 ml plain flour
  • 1/2 tsp lemon pepper
  • 1.20 gm sea salt flakes
  • 24 large pimento-stuffed green olives
  • olive oil spray
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 200°C and prepare a baking tray by lining it with baking paper.
  • In a food processor, blend cheese, butter, flour, lemon pepper, and salt until a dough forms.
  • After processing, gently knead the pastry until smooth. Shape into an 18cm square, then cut into 24 equal pieces.
  • Wrap each olive in pastry by hand until fully covered, then place on a baking tray. Spray with oil and bake at 375°F for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown. Allow to cool before serving alongside pre-dinner drinks.
