Panko-crusted tilapia fried to perfection, a family favorite!
Ingredients:
  • 0.75 cup panko bread crumbs
  • 0.25 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 0.75 tablespoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • 4 (4 ounce) tilapia fillets, halved
  • 2 tablespoons canola oil
Instructions:
  • On a dinner plate, blend panko, parsley, and salt. In a bowl, whisk together egg and milk.
  • Coat fillets in the milk mixture, ensuring to shake off any extra. Gently press into the panko mixture.
  • In a large nonstick skillet over medium heat, heat oil. Add fillets and cook until golden brown on one side for about 4 minutes. Flip and continue cooking until fillets are opaque in the center and flake easily with a fork, approximately 5 more minutes. Serve promptly.
