Crispy breaded shrimp with a sweet & spicy dipping sauce. Perfect for a tasty seafood appetizer!
Ingredients:
  • 1 quart vegetable oil for frying
  • 4 cups shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 2 cups dry bread crumbs
Instructions:
  • Warm the oil in a deep fryer or large saucepan until it reaches 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Take each shrimp and dip it into the beaten egg, letting any extra egg drip off. Coat both sides by pressing it into the bread crumbs. Arrange the breaded shrimp in a single layer on a plate. Repeat for the rest of the shrimp.
  • Gently place breaded shrimp into hot oil in batches and fry until they turn crispy and golden brown, approximately 4 to 5 minutes. Let them drain on a paper towel-lined plate before frying the rest of the shrimp.
