Lemon-dressed seasonal greens on crispy crostini - a fresh and tangy delight!
Ingredients:
  • 3 large handfuls cavolo nero, cabbage or Swiss chard
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • sea salt
  • freshly ground black pepper
  • extra virgin olive oil
  • Crostini
  • 1 squeeze lemon juice
Instructions:
  • Take 3 large handfuls of cavolo nero, cabbage, or Swiss chard and remove the leaves from the stalks. Boil 3 cloves of peeled garlic in salted water, then add the greens. Cook until tender, drain in a colander, and let it cool. Squeeze out any excess water, mix in the garlic, season with salt and pepper, and drizzle with olive oil. Toss to combine and spoon onto hot crostini. Finish with a touch more olive oil and a squeeze of lemon juice. Check out my crostini recipe for more details.
