Indulge in exquisite smoked tuna crostini for a gourmet appetizer.
Ingredients:
  • 1/2 wood-fired loaf or ficelle, thickly sliced on the diagonal
  • 60ml olive oil
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 125g pitted black olives, cut into slivers
  • 20.00 ml salted capers*, rinsed,
  • 8 semi-dried tomatoes, chopped
  • 20.00 ml chopped fresh oregano
  • 125g can smoked tuna slices, drained
  • 250.00 ml (about 50g) wild rocket
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 180°C. Brush the bread slices with a drizzle of oil, then bake them for 8-10 minutes until crispy. After toasting, rub each slice with a halved garlic clove for extra flavor.
  • Finely chop the remaining garlic and combine it in a bowl with olives, capers, tomatoes, and oregano. Add the tuna, breaking it up if too large. Arrange a few rocket leaves on each slice of bread, top with the mixture, and finish with a drizzle of oil.
