Tuna crostini

Elevate your starter with zesty tuna pate on crispy crostini.
Ingredients:
  • 250g unsalted butter, softened, chopped
  • 2x 95g cans tuna in spring water, drained
  • 40.00 ml baby capers, roughly chopped
  • 40.00 ml finely chopped flat-leaf parsley
  • 1/2 lemon, zested, juiced
  • 1/2 loaf ciabatta, cut into 30 slices
  • Extra virgin olive oil, to drizzle
Instructions:
  • Blend butter in a food processor until smooth and creamy. Add tuna and continue blending until smooth. Transfer to a bowl and mix in capers, parsley, lemon zest, and juice. Season with pepper. Spoon into a small jar and let it stand.
  • Heat a chargrill pan over medium heat. Drizzle bread with oil and season with salt and pepper. Grill the bread in batches for 1 minute on each side until golden. Allow the bread to cool. Spread the crostini with tuna mixture before serving.
