Elevate pasta salad with Asian-inspired soy sauce dressing.
Ingredients:
  • 1 box Betty Crocker™ Suddenly Salad® classic pasta salad mix
  • 1 package (3 oz) Oriental-flavor ramen noodle soup mix
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 tablespoons white vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 3 cups coleslaw mix
  • 1 cup snow pea pods, strings removed, cut diagonally into 1/2-inch pieces
  • 1/2 cup sliced almonds, toasted
  • 1 can (15 oz) mandarin orange segments, drained
Instructions:
  • Pour the Pasta mix into a 3-quart saucepan filled 2/3 with boiling water. Boil gently without a cover for 12 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Strain the pasta and give it a refreshing cold water bath. Ensure it is well-drained by giving it a good shake.
  • Combine the seasoning mixes from the pasta and soup mixes in a large bowl along with sugar, oil, vinegar, water, and soy sauce. Toss in the pasta, coleslaw mix, pea pods, almonds, and oranges until everything is well-mixed.
  • Crush the dry noodles from the soup mix and stir them into the pasta mixture right before serving. Enjoy immediately or chill in the refrigerator.
