Crunchy Chocolate Truffle Cups

Indulgent truffle cups made with oat and honey granola bars - a delightful chocolate treat for guests.
Ingredients:
  • 3/4 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 1/3 cup whipping cream
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 8 Nature Valley™ oats 'n honey crunchy granola bars (4 pouches from 8.9-oz box), crushed
  • 1 cup miniature marshmallows
  • 2/3 cup dark chocolate chips
  • Assorted candy sprinkles, if desired
Instructions:
  • Line 30 mini muffin cups with foil baking cups and coat them with cooking spray.
  • Place 3/4 cup chocolate chips in a medium bowl. In a 1-quart saucepan, warm 1/3 cup whipping cream and 1 tablespoon butter over medium heat until the butter is melted and the mixture begins to boil. Pour the cream mixture over the chocolate, stirring until smooth. Add crushed granola bars and marshmallows, mix thoroughly. Spoon slightly less than 1 measuring tablespoonful of the mixture into each muffin cup and press gently.
  • Place 2/3 cup chocolate chips in a small bowl and set aside. In a 1-quart saucepan over medium heat, combine 1/3 cup whipping cream and 1 tablespoon butter. Stir until the butter is melted and the mixture begins to boil. Pour the cream mixture over the chocolate in the bowl and stir until smooth. Spoon the melted chocolate over each crunchy truffle, smoothing the top with the back of a spoon. Decorate with candy sprinkles.
  • Chill for approximately 3 hours until set. Keep covered in the fridge.
