Brighten up your plate with this vibrant salad bursting with fresh fruits, veggies, and crunchy Cheerios® cereal.
Ingredients:
  • 1 large apple or pear, cut into bite-size pieces
  • 1 large stalk celery, sliced
  • 1/4 cup raisins or peanuts, if desired
  • 1/4 cup reduced-fat ranch salad dressing or mayonnaise
  • Lettuce leaves
  • 1 cup Cheerios™ or MultiGrain Cheerios™ cereal, slightly crushed
Instructions:
  • Combine crisp apple, crunchy celery, plump raisins, and tangy dressing in a medium bowl. Chill in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
  • When ready to serve, place lettuce leaves in 4 salad bowls or plates. Spoon apple mixture over the lettuce and sprinkle each serving with 1/4 cup of cereal. Serve right away for a delicious experience.
