Sugar-free, crunchy granola - a guilt-free, healthy morning treat.
Ingredients:
  • 3.75 cups rolled oats
  • 0.5 cup chopped almonds
  • 0.25 cup dried unsweetened coconut
  • 0.25 cup sesame seeds
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 3 large egg whites
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 225 degrees F (110 degrees C) and prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, mix together oats, almonds, coconut, sesame seeds, cinnamon, and salt.
  • In a glass, metal, or ceramic bowl, whip egg whites until stiff peaks form. Blend in vanilla extract. Gently fold egg whites into the oat mixture. Spread the mixture on the baking sheet.
  • Bake the granola in the preheated oven for about 1 hour, stirring every 20 minutes, until it is crispy.
