Delicious bite-sized Cuban sandwich appetizers - a game day or party must-have!
Ingredients:
  • 1 baguette, cut into 1/2-inch slices
  • 3 tablespoons yellow mustard
  • 3 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1.5 pounds Swiss cheese, sliced, divided
  • 4 ounces dill pickle slices
  • 1 pound honey ham, sliced
  • 1 pound cooked pork loin, sliced
  • 0.25 cup mayonnaise
  • 0.25 teaspoon garlic powder
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and set a cooling rack on a rimmed baking sheet.
  • Combine yellow and Dijon mustards, then spread the mixture evenly over the baguette slices. Layer half of the Swiss cheese on half of the bread slices and place them on a baking sheet. Top each slice with pickles, ham, pork loin, and the rest of the cheese. Finish the sandwiches with the remaining baguette slices.
  • Coat the sandwich tops with a layer of creamy mayonnaise and a dusting of aromatic garlic powder. Give another baking pan a light spray with cooking spray and position it upside-down over the sandwiches. Press down with a sturdy cast iron skillet to ensure even cooking.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes. Remove top pan and continue baking until golden brown, about 5 minutes.
