Quick and simple cube steak stew with canned veggies and browning sauce, ready in under 30 minutes.
Ingredients:
  • 1.5 pounds beef cube steak
  • 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 0.5 tablespoon butter
  • 1 cube beef bouillon, dissolved in 1 cup water
  • 1 (15 ounce) can sliced potatoes, drained
  • 1 (8 ounce) can peas and carrots
  • 1 teaspoon browning sauce
  • 0.5 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Instructions:
  • Cut cube steaks into bite-sized pieces. Spread flour on a plate and coat meat evenly with flour.
  • In a large skillet over medium-high heat, melt a luxurious combination of oil and butter. Introduce steak pieces, onion, and garlic to the pan, allowing them to dance and sizzle until gloriously browned. If desired, lavish the pan with additional butter.
  • Blend in beef bouillon, potatoes, peas, carrots, browning sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Cover and simmer for 25 minutes until thickened. Adjust consistency with additional water if needed.
