Mix fresh dill into cream cheese for a flavorful cherry tomato filling.
Ingredients:
  • 24 cherry tomatoes
  • 1 (3-oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise or salad dressing
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped, seeded cucumber
  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped green onions
  • 2 teaspoons chopped fresh dill or 1/4 teaspoon dried dill weed
Instructions:
  • Prepare the tomatoes by removing the stems and cutting a thin slice from the bottom of each to level them. Carefully hollow out each tomato using a small spoon or melon baller, leaving a 1/8-inch shell. Place the tomato shells upside down on paper towels to drain.
  • Combine the creamy mixture of cream cheese and mayonnaise in a small bowl until smooth. Add in the refreshing cucumber, aromatic onions, and flavorful dill, stirring until well combined.
  • Stuff tomato shells with a creamy cheese blend and arrange on a platter. Chill for 2-24 hours, covered, before serving. Keep refrigerated.
