Wheat-free, dairy-free brownies using barley flour and baking powder for a delicious treat.
Ingredients:
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 0.25 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup barley flour
  • 0.75 cup white sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 0.75 teaspoon salt
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) while you prepare a small baking dish by greasing it.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract until smooth. In another bowl, combine barley flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Gently fold the dry ingredients into the egg mixture to create a smooth batter. Transfer the batter into the prepared baking dish.
  • Simply bake in a preheated oven until golden on top and firm in the center, for 20 to 30 minutes.
