Indulgent triple chocolate cake featuring chocolate cake mix, mousse mix, and decadent candy bars.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (18.25 ounce) package chocolate cake mix
  • 0.5 cup coffee flavored liqueur
  • 0.625 cup dry chocolate mousse mix
  • 8 (1.4 ounce) bars chocolate covered English toffee
  • 2 (16 ounce) packages frozen whipped topping, thawed
  • 1 (1.5 ounce) bar milk chocolate candy
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C), then generously grease and flour three 8-inch round cake pans.
  • Follow the instructions on the cake mix package to prepare the batter. Divide the batter evenly among the prepared pans.
  • 1. Bake the cake at 350°F (175°C) for 30 minutes, then allow it to cool slightly. 2. Using a fork, gently pierce holes in all three cake layers. 3. Slowly drizzle the coffee liqueur over the cakes.
  • Make the chocolate mousse following the package instructions, then refrigerate to chill.
  • Once the cake has cooled, gently break it into bite-sized pieces. In a large glass bowl, layer one-third of the cake pieces, chocolate mousse, crushed butter toffee candy bars, and whipped topping. Repeat this layering process two more times. Grate the chocolate candy bar over the top. Chill the dessert in the refrigerator for several hours before serving.
