Indulgent death by chocolate trifle - simple to make with brownie mix and instant pudding for a decadent chocolate treat!
Ingredients:
  • 1 (18.4 ounce) package brownie mix (such as Betty Crocker®)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 0.5 cup vegetable oil
  • 3 tablespoons water
  • 4 cups milk
  • 2 (3.9 ounce) packages instant chocolate pudding mix
  • 3 (1.4 ounce) bars chocolate covered English toffee
  • 1 (16 ounce) package frozen whipped topping, thawed
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking pan.
  • Prepare the decadent brownie batter by combining the brownie mix, eggs, vegetable oil, and water in a large bowl. Stir with a wooden spoon until perfectly blended, then transfer the mixture into the baking pan.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 25 minutes until a toothpick inserted 2 inches from the side of the pan comes out clean. Allow it to cool completely.
  • In a large bowl, combine milk and pudding mix, whisking until smooth. Set aside.
  • Begin with a decadent layer of crumbled brownies in the base of a glass punch bowl, followed by a generous layer of creamy pudding. Add a sprinkle of crushed toffee bar and a layer of fluffy whipped topping. Repeat the layers, ending with the remaining toffee bar crumbled on top. Chill until serving, adding a final touch of toffee bar before presenting to delight your guests.
