Total Time:
Decadent, ultra-thick, fudgy brownies - a new favorite for all!
Ingredients:
  • 0.75 cup all-purpose flour
  • 0.75 cup cake flour
  • 0.25 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 4 (1 ounce) squares unsweetened chocolate
  • 1.75 cups white sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F. Grease and flour a 9-inch square baking pan, then tap out any excess flour.
  • In a double boiler, gently melt the butter and unsweetened chocolate until smooth. Allow the mixture to cool for approximately 15 minutes.
  • Combine both flours, baking powder, and salt, sifting them together. Set aside. In a large bowl, whisk together the chocolate and butter mixture until well blended. Beat in the sugar, vanilla, and eggs. Fold in the dry ingredients until well combined. Stir in the semisweet chocolate chips. Spread the batter evenly into the prepared pan.
  • Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 30 to 35 minutes until just set. Let cool in the pan on a wire rack, then cut into large squares.
