Ingredients:
  • 1 egg
  • 1 (8 ounce) wedge Brie cheese, cut into 1 inch cubes
  • 0.5 cup dry bread crumbs
  • 3 cups oil for deep frying
  • 1 cup cranberry sauce
Instructions:
  • Whisk the egg with salt and pepper in a small bowl using a fork. Place bread crumbs in a separate bowl. Dip Brie cubes into the egg, then coat evenly with breadcrumbs. Arrange cheese cubes on a tray and chill for 20 minutes to firm up.
  • Preheat oil in a deep-fryer or heavy saucepan to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Fry cheese cubes until deep golden brown, about 3 to 5 minutes. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels. Serve warm with cranberry sauce for dipping. Keep warm in the oven until ready to serve.
