Whip up quick and delicious shrimp and Havarti cheese appetizers on cocktail bread in just 20 minutes.
Ingredients:
  • 24 pumpernickel cocktail bread slices
  • 3 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 6 slices (about 8 ounces) dill Havarti cheese from deli
  • 24 medium or large cooked shrimp, thawed if frozen and tails removed
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped red bell pepper
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh dill weed
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 400°F. Arrange bread slices on a large baking sheet and bake for 4 to 6 minutes until they are nicely crisp.
  • Combine the mustard and honey, then generously spread it on the bread slices. Cut the cheese into 2-inch squares. Place a cheese square on each bread slice, followed by shrimp and bell pepper. Finally, sprinkle with dill weed before serving.
  • Simply bake until the cheese is melted, about 3 to 5 minutes.
