Marinate asparagus in Burgundy wine, then grill for a taste of spring. Serve alongside your main dish for a delicious meal.
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup Burgundy wine
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon prepared brown mustard
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 2 pounds fresh asparagus, trimmed
Instructions:
  • Combine Burgundy wine, olive oil, brown mustard, garlic powder, black pepper, and salt in a medium bowl, whisk until well blended.
  • In a large glass bowl, generously coat asparagus with the flavorful Burgundy wine mixture. Cover and let the asparagus marinate in the refrigerator for a minimum of 2 hours, giving it a few occasional turns.
  • Heat up the outdoor grill to high heat and lightly oil the grate.
  • Grill asparagus for 10 minutes, or until perfectly tender.
