Beer-marinated spareribs grilled with a tangy sauce. Deliciously bold flavors!
Ingredients:
  • 2.5 tablespoons garlic powder
  • 1.5 tablespoons white pepper
  • 1.5 tablespoons seasoned salt
  • 1 tablespoon onion salt
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 4 pounds pork spareribs
  • 0.5 cup distilled white vinegar
  • 12 (12 fluid ounce) cans or bottles premium lager
  • 1 (20 ounce) bottle ketchup
  • 1 (10 fluid ounce) bottle Worcestershire sauce
  • 1.5 cups maple syrup
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup liquid smoke flavoring
  • 0.5 cup margarine
  • 0.5 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 0.5 cup honey mustard
Instructions:
  • Combine garlic powder, white pepper, seasoned salt, onion salt, and oregano in a medium bowl.
  • Spread the garlic powder mixture all over the ribs in a big roasting pan. Pour in distilled white vinegar and half of the beer, ensuring the ribs are fully covered. Cover the pan, and let the ribs marinate in the fridge for 8 hours or overnight.
  • Get your outdoor grill ready by setting it up for indirect, medium heat and giving the grate a light coating of oil.
  • Combine the rest of the beer with ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, maple syrup, brown sugar, liquid smoke, margarine, apple cider vinegar, and honey mustard in a large saucepan. Bring to a boil, then cover, reduce heat, and simmer for 15 minutes until a thick sauce develops.
  • Take the ribs out of the marinade and generously cover them with the sauce. Transfer to the grill and cook for 1 1/2 to 2 hours until reaching an internal temperature of 160 degrees F (70 degrees C). Remember to baste regularly with the sauce while grilling.
