Simplify cookie baking with cookie mix and become a pro with decorating hacks!
Ingredients:
  • Flour, butter and egg called for on cookie mix pouch for cutout cookies
  • 1 tub (12 oz) Betty Crocker™ Whipped Fluffy White Frosting
  • Betty Crocker™ Gel Food Colors
  • Green-colored sour candy separated into strips
  • M&M's® chocolate candies
  • Small jelly beans
  • Betty Crocker™ Black and Yellow Decorating Decors Sprinkles
  • Orange candy slices
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 375°F. Combine cookie mix, flour, butter, and egg in a medium bowl and mix until dough comes together.
  • Roll the dough on a lightly floured surface until it is about 1/8-inch thick. Use a 3-inch egg-shaped cookie cutter to cut out the eggs, then place them 1 inch apart on ungreased cookie sheets.
  • For Marbled Eggs: Mix 1/4 cup frosting with 1 to 2 drops of your favorite food color until smooth. Frost cookies with a different colored frosting. Pipe three lines of colored frosting on each egg, then swirl with a toothpick for a marbled effect. For Candy Designs: Frost the cookies and then add decorative touches with candy strips, jelly beans, or candy-coated chocolates. For Easter Chicks: Combine 1 1/4 cups frosting with 2 to 3 drops of yellow food color. Ice the top half of each cookie with yellow frosting and the bottom half with white frosting. Use black sprinkles for the eyes, yellow sprinkles for feathers, and bits of orange candy slices for the beak and feet.
