Whip up simple Easter cookies with colorful M&M's - perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 0.75 cup white sugar
  • 2.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 0.75 teaspoon salt
  • 0.75 teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 cups Easter-colored candy-coated chocolate pieces (such as M&M's®)
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) for a perfectly baked dish.
  • In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugars until fluffy, for about 5 minutes on medium speed. Mix in the eggs and vanilla extract. Then, on low speed, incorporate the flour, salt, and baking soda. Finally, fold in the milk chocolate candies.
  • Chill dough for 1 hour for optimal flavor and texture.
  • Place dollops of dough onto a bare cookie sheet. Gently press down with your palm to flatten.
  • Bake in the preheated oven until cookies are golden and flattened, for 8 to 14 minutes. Let them cool on the sheet briefly before transferring to a cooling rack.
