  • 1.5 cups Quaker® Oats (Quick or Old Fashioned, uncooked)
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 0.5 cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • 0.5 teaspoon baking soda
  • 10 tablespoons butter or margarine, melted
  • 1 (21 ounce) can apple pie filling
  • 1.5 teaspoons lemon juice

Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees F and lightly spray a 8- or 9-inch glass pie plate with nonstick cooking spray.

  • Reserve 3/4 cup of the oat mixture for topping.
  • Press the remaining oat mixture firmly into the bottom and sides of the pie plate.
  • Bake until light golden brown, then let cool slightly on a wire rack.
  • In a single bowl, combine the pie filling, cranberries, lemon juice, and cinnamon while gently stirring.
  • Spread the filling over the hot crust evenly, then sprinkle the reserved oat topping evenly over the filling.
  • Bake until topping is a beautiful golden brown, usually taking about 18 to 22 minutes.
