Savory seasoned beef and black bean taco salad with lettuce, salsa, cheese, sour cream, and crispy tortilla chips.
Ingredients:
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 envelope taco seasoning mix
  • 0.75 cup water
  • 1 (15 ounce) can black beans, drained
  • 1 head romaine lettuce, shredded
  • 1 (8 ounce) jar salsa
  • 2 tomatoes, diced
  • 2 cups shredded Mexican cheese blend
  • 8 ounces sour cream
  • 1 (10 ounce) bag tortilla chips
Instructions:
  • In a skillet over medium heat, cook crumbled ground beef until no longer pink, about 8 minutes. Add taco mix and water, cook until mixture thickens, about 10 minutes.
  • Simmer black beans in a saucepan over medium heat until just bubbling.
  • Layer the beef mixture and black beans on a serving plate to create the base of the salad. Add romaine lettuce, salsa, tomatoes, and cheese on top. Finish by generously garnishing with sour cream and tortilla chips. Repeat to make a total of 4 salads.
