Easy Chicken with Rice Casserole

Easy and convenient dish ready to bake in just 15 minutes, or prepare ahead and bake later for a comforting meal.
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup uncooked regular long-grain white rice
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) condensed cream of celery soup
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) condensed cream of chicken with herbs soup
  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 5 bone-in chicken breast halves with skin
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 325°F. Grease a 13x9-inch (3-quart) glass baking dish with cooking spray. Combine uncooked rice, both soups, and water in a large bowl, then transfer the mixture into the baking dish.
  • Lay the chicken, skin side up, over the rice mixture. Brush the chicken with melted butter, ensuring to use all of it. Sprinkle with paprika and cover tightly with foil for cooking.
  • Bake uncovered for an additional 20-30 minutes until the chicken's thickest part reaches at least 165°F and the juices run clear.
