Easy sugar cookie bars with frosting, sprinkles, M&M’s Minis, and pretzel stick decorations.
Ingredients:
  • 1 pouch (17.5 oz) Betty Crocker™ Sugar Cookie Mix
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 4 oz (half of 8-oz package) cream cheese, softened
  • 14 pretzel sticks
  • 3/4 cup from 1 tub (16 oz) Betty Crocker™ Rich & Creamy Vanilla Frosting (from 1-lb container)
  • Betty Crocker™ green gel food color
  • 2 teaspoons green, red and white candy sprinkles
  • 27 yellow M&M's® Minis™ chocolate candies
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a 13x9-inch pan with foil, leaving overhang on two sides, and spray with cooking spray.
  • Combine cookie mix, softened butter, cream cheese, and egg in a large bowl until a soft dough forms. Press dough into a pan and bake for 20 to 23 minutes until golden brown. Allow to cool completely on a rack for about 1 hour.
  • Release the bars from the pan by lifting the foil and gently peeling it away. Cut the bars into 27 triangles by first creating 3 horizontal rows, then slicing each row into 9 triangles, ensuring each triangle has a 2-inch wide base. Save the end pieces for snacking.
  • Break the pretzel sticks in half and insert a pretzel half into the short end of each triangle. In a small bowl, mix frosting with green food coloring to reach the desired color. Transfer the frosting to a small resealable plastic bag and cut off a tiny corner. Pipe the frosting over bars, sprinkle with sprinkles, and top each triangle with a chocolate candy. Store the bars in an airtight container at room temperature.
