Indulge in the best cream cheese Danish with this easy recipe.
Ingredients:
  • 2 (10 ounce) cans refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, diced
  • 0.75 cup white sugar
  • 1.5 teaspoons lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 teaspoons sour cream
  • 1 cup confectioners' sugar
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • 1 tablespoon butter, softened
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and lightly grease a 9x13 inch baking pan.
  • Place a single can of crescent rolls on the bottom of the baking pan, then seal all the seams together by gently pinching them.
  • Combine cream cheese, white sugar, lemon juice, vanilla extract, and sour cream in a large bowl. Spread this creamy filling over the rolls. Layer the second can of rolls on top of the filling.
  • Place in a perfectly preheated oven and bake for 20-30 minutes.
  • Combine confectioners' sugar, milk, and butter in a small bowl. Drizzle the icing over the cooled Danish.
