Delicious apple cream cheese Danish with easy crescent dough and irresistible brown sugar cinnamon topping.
Ingredients:
  • cooking spray
  • 0.5 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 (8 ounce) packages refrigerated crescent roll dough, divided
  • 2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 0.5 cup white sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 (20 ounce) can apple pie filling
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter, melted
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and generously spray a 9x13-inch baking pan with cooking spray. Combine brown sugar and cinnamon in a bowl and set aside.
  • Unwrap a can of crescent roll dough and press it down evenly in the bottom of the baking dish.
  • Combine cream cheese, white sugar, and vanilla, blending until velvety. Smooth this mixture over the dough. Add apple filling on top of the cream cheese layer. Cover with the second package of crescent roll dough, pressing the seams together firmly. Finish by pouring butter over the top and dusting with cinnamon-sugar.
  • Bake until golden and bubbly in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes.
