Ingredients:
  • 1.5 cups butter
  • 6 eggs
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
Instructions:
  • Assemble all the ingredients.
  • Preheat the oven to a cozy 325 degrees F (165 degrees C), then generously grease and flour a 10-inch tube pan.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine butter and cream cheese until smooth. Slowly incorporate sugar and beat until fluffy.
  • Beat in eggs two at a time until well combined. Stir in flour all at once and mix thoroughly. Add vanilla and blend. Transfer the batter into the cake pan.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour and 20 minutes, checking for doneness at 1 hour. Insert a toothpick into the center of the cake; if it comes out clean, the cake is ready. Remove from oven and cool before serving.
