Quick stovetop fried spinach with garlic, oil, and butter - a versatile and flavorful side dish.
Ingredients:
  • 0.25 cup unsalted butter
  • 0.25 cup canola oil
  • 2 (10 ounce) bags fresh spinach leaves
  • 8 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
Instructions:
  • In a large skillet over medium heat, melt butter with oil until it stops bubbling to remove water content from the butter. Add garlic and cook until it starts to brown, approximately 2 minutes. Stir in spinach and cook until the leaves are dark and reduced by 1/4 of their original size, around 5 minutes.
