Get into the holiday spirit with our classic gingerbread cookies! Our easy-to-use mix makes baking a breeze, perfect for festive weekends with the little ones.
Ingredients:
  • 1 pouch (17.5 oz) Betty Crocker™ Limited Edition Gingerbread Cookie Mix
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 tub (16 oz) Betty Crocker™ Rich & Creamy Vanilla Frosting or 1 tub (16 oz) Betty Crocker™ Rich & Creamy Creamy White Frosting
  • 1 bottle (2 oz) Betty Crocker™ red cinnamon decors
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 375°F. Mix the cookie mix, butter, water, and egg in a medium bowl until a soft dough forms.
  • Roll the dough to 1/4-inch thickness on a lightly floured surface. Use a 2 1/2-inch gingerbread man cookie cutter to cut the shapes. Place the cutouts on ungreased cookie sheets, spacing them 2 inches apart.
  • Bake for 8 to 10 minutes until edges are set. Cool for 1 minute, then transfer from cookie sheets to cooling racks. Let cool completely for about 15 minutes.
  • Transfer the frosting into a piping bag with a round tip. Use the bag to pipe the frosting onto the cookies. Sprinkle with cinnamon decorations for a finishing touch.
