Quick and easy gingerbread using baking mix - perfect for a last-minute treat!
Ingredients:
  • 3 cups biscuit baking mix
  • 0.33333334326744 cup white sugar
  • 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • 0.75 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 0.5 cup molasses
  • 0.5 cup applesauce
  • 1 egg, beaten
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and lightly grease a cookie sheet.
  • Combine baking mix, white sugar, pumpkin pie spice, and ginger in a medium bowl. Add molasses, applesauce, and egg, and mix until a ball forms. Transfer the dough to a lightly floured surface and knead 10 times. Shape it into a 10-inch circle on the prepared cookie sheet.
  • After 15 minutes of baking in the preheated oven, slice into wedges while warm and indulge in the delightful combination with vanilla ice cream.
