Quick and delicious ham & cheese breakfast casserole for the perfect morning boost!
Ingredients:
  • nonstick cooking spray
  • 2 cups milk
  • 8 large eggs
  • 8 cups cubed bread
  • 4 ounces diced country ham
  • 1.5 cups shredded Cheddar cheese, divided
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground black pepper
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and generously coat a 2-quart baking dish with nonstick spray.
  • In a bowl, blend together milk, eggs, and salt until smooth.
  • Layer 3/4 of the bread cubes in the baking dish; top with ham and 1 cup of Cheddar cheese. Pour egg mixture over. Add the rest of the bread cubes and press gently to submerge. Sprinkle remaining Cheddar cheese on top.
  • Bake in the preheated oven until golden and cooked through in the center, approximately 40 minutes. Let it cool for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
