Indulge in a mouthwatering cheddar-topped hamburger casserole for a delicious one-pan meal.
Ingredients:
  • 1 lb lean (at least 80%) ground beef
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 bag (12 oz) frozen mixed vegetables, thawed, drained
  • 1 can (10 3/4 oz) condensed tomato soup
  • 1 cup Original Bisquick™ mix
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese (2 ounces)
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 375°F. Cook ground beef with onion powder, salt, and pepper in a large skillet over medium-high heat for 5 to 7 minutes, stirring often, until beef is browned; then drain excess grease.
  • Combine the vegetables and soup with the beef and bring to a boil. Transfer the mixture to a 2-quart casserole dish without greasing it.
  • Combine Bisquick mix, milk, and egg in a small bowl, whisk until smooth, then pour over the hot beef mixture.
  • Bake uncovered for 25 to 30 minutes until the crust is golden brown. Sprinkle with cheese and bake for an additional 3 to 5 minutes until the cheese is melted.
