Easy KitKat cookies recipe

Decadent chocolate chip cookies adorned with crunchy KitKat, a sweet indulgence for any time of day!
Ingredients:
  • 2 x 170g blocks Nestlé KitKat
  • 225g unsalted butter, softened
  • 75g (1/3 cup) caster sugar
  • 180ml (3/4 cup) Nestlé Sweetened Condensed Milk
  • 300g (2 cups) plain flour
  • 4.00 gm baking powder
  • 200g pkt Nestlé Bakers' Choice Milk Choc Bits
  • 20.00 gm Nestlé Bakers' Choice Cocoa Powder
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 190C/170C fan-forced and prepare three large baking trays by greasing and lining them.
  • Unwrap the KitKat bars and slice 10 bars into thirds to create 30 small pieces. Then finely chop the remaining bars.
  • With an electric mixer, whip together butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Mix in sweetened condensed milk. Combine sifted flour and baking powder into butter mixture. Gently fold in milk chocolate chips and finely chopped KitKat.
  • Transfer a third of the cookie mixture into a bowl. Stir in the cocoa powder until well combined. Return the cocoa mixture to the remaining cookie mixture and gently swirl them together.
  • Roll level tablespoons of the mixture into balls and space 5cm apart on prepared trays. Bake for 15 minutes or until golden. Immediately top each warm cookie with a piece of KitKat and gently press it in. Allow to cool before serving.
