Unique frozen tiramisu dessert with an easy twist.
Ingredients:
  • 3 x 170g blocks KitKat Milk Chocolate
  • 20.00 ml instant coffee granules
  • 40.00 gm boiling water
  • 40.00 ml coffee liqueur
  • 375g cream cheese, at room temperature, chopped
  • 300ml thickened cream
Instructions:
  • Prepare your loaf pan by lining the base and sides with plastic wrap, ensuring the wrap extends over the long sides. Break the KitKat blocks into individual bars and place 10 bars horizontally, with the logo side facing down, on the base of the pan.
  • In a small heatproof jug, combine the coffee and 2 tablespoons of boiling water. Stir until dissolved, then mix in the coffee liqueur. Let it cool.
  • In a large bowl, smooth cream cheese and sugar with electric beaters. Add cream and cooled coffee mixture, beat until combined.
  • Spread half of the cream cheese mixture over the KitKat base and make it smooth. Place 8 KitKat bars, writing-side down, in a row on top of the cream cheese layer. Spread the rest of the cream cheese mixture and smooth it out. Put 10 KitKat bars, writing-side down, on the cream cheese layer. Cover and freeze for 6 hours until firm.
  • Roughly chop the remaining KitKat bars. Let the tiramisu sit at room temperature for 10 minutes. Transfer to a serving plate. Sprinkle with the chopped KitKat and slice before serving.
