KitKat Brownies Recipe

Decadent KitKat-topped chocolate brownies, a delightful indulgence!
Ingredients:
  • 125g butter, chopped
  • 200g Nestlé Plaistowe Dark Chocolate, chopped
  • 110g (1/2 cup) caster sugar
  • 2 eggs, lightly beaten
  • 185g (1 1/4 cups) plain flour
  • 200g pkt Nestlé Bakers' Choice Dark Choc Bits
  • 3 x 45g bars Nestlé KitKat, cut into fingers
  • 3 x 45g bars Nestlé KitKat Gold, cut into finger
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 180C/160C fan forced and generously grease and line a 19 cm square cake pan.
  • In a large saucepan, melt butter and dark chocolate over low heat until smooth. Remove from heat and stir in sugar. Let cool for 10 minutes before using.
  • Gently combine eggs into the chocolate mixture, followed by the flour. Carefully fold in the dark chocolate bits. Transfer the batter into the pan, then even out the surface.
  • Bake for 30 minutes or until the brownie feels firm when touched.
  • Place the KitKat on top of the brownie in a decorative pattern, trimming them to fit if needed. Allow it to cool completely in the pan before turning it out and cutting it into squares for serving.
