Try this simple pecan tassie recipe for a delicious treat - you'll become a pro in no time!
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 0.5 cup butter, softened
  • 3 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 0.5 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 tablespoon butter, softened
  • 1 dash salt
Instructions:
  • In a bowl, mix together the flour, butter, and cream cheese. Cover the bowl and let it chill in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
  • Shape chilled dough into 24 balls, then gently press into mini muffin tin to create perfect pastry shells.
  • Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C) for the perfect baking temperature.
  • Combine brown sugar, pecans, egg, butter, vanilla extract, and salt in a bowl. Fill each pastry shell with 1/2 to 3/4 teaspoon of the mixture.
  • Bake until beautifully golden in the preheated oven for approximately 25 minutes.
