Decadent pecan pie - gooey filling of corn syrup, eggs, and sugar poured over whole pecans in a flaky crust. Perfect for the holidays!
Ingredients:
  • 1 (9 inch) unbaked pie crust
  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup dark corn syrup
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 0.25 cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup pecan halves
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) for the perfect temperature to work its magic.
  • Whisk the eggs, corn syrup, sugar, butter, and vanilla until well combined.
  • Evenly distribute pecans on the bottom of the pie crust, then pour the mixture over them.
  • Bake for 1 hour or until a knife inserted 1 inch from the edge comes out clean. Let it cool before cutting into slices.
